Job Overview: ANW is seeking a District Manager for King County. This position is responsible for ensuring the execution of sales plans within an assigned territory through a focus on the sales team and key account management. We are looking for someone to not only lead, but to help build a sales team and define the success of their region for years to come. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 
Distribution Management -  
Manage and oversee all market activities through organization, ensuring that efforts are focused on appropriate accounts, territory, and channels to achieve ANW’s short and long-term sales objectives. 
Execute market level sales and marketing activities/programs to achieve brand, volume, KPIs, and sustained performance. 
Develop and implement plans and activities to ensure assigned sales team members have the information needed to execute successfully against the ANW portfolio plans and to meet assigned depletion and account growth goals. 
Follow up and develop plans to address market gaps and performance issues. 
Effectively leverage sales team to support key account activities as needed. 
Train and assist sales personnel to conduct brand presentations to key on-premise staff at targeted accounts to ensure the proper implementation of brand strategies for all brands. 

Key Account Management - 
Develop strong working relationships with key accounts (on and off) in assigned geography. 
Provide key accounts with compelling selling stories and/or programming initiatives to grow distribution, shelf management, and depletion activity. 
Identify new key account opportunities and develop compelling selling stories and/or programming initiatives to grow distribution, shelf management, and depletion activity. 
Deliver fact based selling presentations to on and off-premise sub channels. 
Ensure the execution of in market programs in targeted key accounts. 

Budget & Planning -
Responsible for managing within an assigned budget
May contribute/input to the annual budget planning cycle. 

Skills, Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree required - preferably in Business Administration or some related field of study
Three to five years experience with on and off-premise alcoholic beverage sales
Two years experience in a managerial role
Solid understanding of business financials and experience in managing a budget
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with key customers & stakeholders
Familiarity with product sales - ability to develop compelling selling stories to grow distribution and volume sales
Ability to manage multiple priorities and experience in working with a multi-brand portfolio
Results oriented, thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced enviornment
Ability to work independently
Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to work effectively with teams - driving results through others

Essential Job Functions:
Ability to work weekends and extended workdays as needed (generally 2+ nights per week for on-premise account development and programming)
Make in person presentations - communicating verbally information about ANW's portfolio
Access online data and review/analyze information and opportunities within key accounts & assigned geography
Ability to travel within assigned geography – generally 2-4 days per week. 
Must have a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
