My journey has taken me from the West Coast to the East, from wine to cooking, and back again. While running my successful Brooklyn Restaurant and Food Truck, Glady’s and Morris Truck, I would spend countless mornings connecting with farmers and buying their products at markets or directly from the farm; I was also working closely with Queens County Farm, where a personal friend ran their organics program, to promote healthy farming practices. Moving to Seattle, I decided to rekindle my love affair with wine, which was established at an early age through my father’s nightly cooking of things from our garden and “blind tasting” of wines together. When the opportunity presented itself to manage a portfolio here in the Northwest, I took the chance to impactfully move these stories forward for our supplier partners, all while growing our business together. From working with the largest Biodynamic vineyard in the US, to the smallest “mom and pop” winery we represent, there is a consistent thread of integrity and thoughtful approaches to the impact they have on the environment. This is what drives my passion for this industry, and my love for all things vinifera.
